Symbolising performance in MTB suspension, FOX RACING SHOX grew out of an American family success story. While in 1974 Geoff Fox founded the Motocross parts and accessories distribution company Moto-X Fox — which became Fox Racing, then Fox Head in 2006 — his brother Bob independently started a business designing motorcycle forks. After a promising start marked by several competition victories, Bob decided to realise his ambition by launching his own company in 1978.
Named FOX Factory, it initially manufactured a single fork model, the AirFox, distributed by Moto-X. As successes mounted, the company gradually moved into other sectors, and in 2001 it entered the bicycle suspension market. The very next year, FOX made a name for itself in the MTB world — thanks to the Dual Slalom World Championship title won by Brian Lopes on a bike equipped with a Float 100 RLC — and has never left the podiums since.

The 32 Float 29-inch fork with 120 mm of travel fully meets my expectations both in terms of suppleness and solidity.
