How to fit road bike tyres?
A simple operation you can carry out yourself, also valid for replacing an inner tube when fixing a puncture.

Steps
- Fit the first bead of your tyre then the inner tube slightly pre-inflated, starting from the valve. Probikeshop tip: make sure to observe the tyre's rolling direction indicated on the sidewall.
- Then fit the 2nd tyre bead starting from the side opposite the valve, taking care not to pinch the inner tube between the tyre and the rim.
- Roll the tyre bead from left to right all the way around the tyre so that it sits correctly and check that the inner tube is properly in place.
- Inflate your tyre to your desired pressure.
All that remains is to refit the wheel onto the bike.
