Can I wear these shorts on their own without shorts over them? Absolutely. Although they are compatible with wide shorts, their opacity and "Cargo" design make them ideal for use on their own, especially for Gravel or bikepacking.
Do the thigh pockets hold objects securely? Yes, the mesh is designed to be highly elastic and compressive. A telephone or energy bars are held tightly against the leg, avoiding unpleasant jostling when pedaling.
Is it suitable for very long rides (over 5 hours)? Yes, the 600 series insert is one of Endura's best performers. It is specifically designed to reduce vibrations and pressure points over long off-road distances.
