The Fizik Vento Antares R1 Light saddle is a competition saddle with a slightly undulating profile (low profile), renowned for its ability to provide optimal support for cyclists seeking both pelvic stability and freedom of movement. A staple reference in the professional peloton, the Antares allows smooth transitions between an upright climbing position and very low positions on the handlebars.

In this ultra-lightweight R1 Light version, it combines solid carbon rails with a 7 x 9mm cross-section, a carbon-reinforced nylon shell and minimalist high-density EVA foam padding. Its ergonomics are completed by a central anatomical cut-out (Ergo-Relief) designed to eliminate pressure points while maintaining excellent weight distribution.

Who is the "Antares" shape suited for compared to the Argo or Aliante ranges? The Antares is Fizik's most versatile model. It is particularly well suited to cyclists with average flexibility (Chameleon) who like to vary their riding position slightly without the highly undulating profile of the Aliante or the very short nose of the Argo.

Do carbon rails require a specific seatpost clamp? Yes. As with all Fizik R1 saddles, the rails are oval (7mm wide by 9mm tall). Your seatpost clamp must accept oval/carbon rails.

Is the rear accessory mount included? A: Yes, the Link piece is included to attach your compatible accessories (rear bottle cage, lighting) and can be easily removed.
