Description

Developed in collaboration with the brand's MTB athlete team, the FOX SPEEDFRAME PRO Backfade helmet has received the highest rating (5 stars) awarded by the independent Virginia Tech institute as part of its "Bicycle Helmet Rating" programme.

This high-end classic MTB helmet offers a premium set of features to protect you when you hit the trails. At the top of this list is the MIPS® Air Node protection system, designed to reduce the rotational movement applied to the head by absorbing and redirecting forces that could damage the brain in the event of a collision.

The dual-density Varizorb™ EPS shell optimises the level of protection by distributing impact forces over a larger surface area. The 360-degree Boa retention system and FIDLOCK snap buckle ensure a perfect fit every ride, with easy fastening and release even with gloves on. The antimicrobial Ionic+® liner limits odours while wicking away perspiration, and it can be removed and washed easily when needed.

The Speedframe Pro helmet can also accommodate goggles, thanks to its visor adjustable in 3 positions.

"Enfin un casque ouvert digne des casques intégraux de la marque. Très belle finition, excellente ventilation, maintien sur la tete au top grace aux réglages par mollette BOA , MIPS tres bien intégré et un poids réduit, on l’oublie vite en ridant. L’emplacement lunettes retirées sous la visière serait perfectible. Seul mauvais point pour les accros de l’action cam, le système de support d’origine Fox sous la visière, issu du modèle RS et compatible avec tous les Speedframes de cette generation est totalement raté et ne tient pas .
