The HOPE TECH 4 EVO GR4 brake embodies the pinnacle of technology and British craftsmanship. Designed to deliver a perfect feel and absolute control, it represents the ultimate evolution of the renowned Tech 4 system. Entirely machined from a block of 2014 T6 aluminium, it combines precision, power and reliability to meet the demands of the most extreme disciplines, including downhill and e-bike.

The TECH 4 EVO master cylinder benefits from significant improvements: a new piston, floating head, optimised cam, second guide seal and three new levers. These evolutions deliver smooth, customisable control of braking power. The lever pivot rests on two annular bearings, ensuring a smooth and consistent action, while the adjustment dials allow fine-tuning of reach and bite point to suit rider preference.

The GR4 calliper, Post-Mount (74.2 mm) standard, is machined as a single piece for increased rigidity and controlled weight. Its four hybrid pistons — two 17 mm and two 18 mm — guarantee maximum power and optimal thermal management. This model offers 6% more power compared to the Tech 4 V4, while maintaining exemplary progressiveness. Ideal for gravity riding and e-bikes, it remains incompatible with vented discs.

Supplied with three types of pads (Racing, All Conditions, and E-Bike), the HOPE TECH 4 EVO GR4 adapts to all riding disciplines. With its 2 m hose, 14 colour combinations and highly refined design, it stands as the absolute benchmark in high-end braking for the most demanding riders.
