The HOPE TECH 4 EVO GR4 brake embodies the pinnacle of technology and British craftsmanship. Designed to deliver a perfect feel and absolute control, it represents the ultimate evolution of the renowned Tech 4 system. Entirely machined from a 2014 T6 aluminium block, it combines precision, power and reliability to meet the demands of the most extreme disciplines, particularly downhill and e-bike.

The TECH 4 EVO master cylinder benefits from significant improvements: new piston, floating head, optimised cam, second guide ring and three new levers. These evolutions deliver fluid and customisable control of braking power. The lever pivot rests on two annular bearings, ensuring a smooth and consistent action, while the adjustment dials allow fine-tuning of the bite point and lever reach to suit the rider's preferences.

The GR4 calliper, Post-Mount standard (74.2 mm), is machined as a single piece for increased rigidity and controlled weight. Its four hybrid pistons — two of 17 mm and two of 18 mm — guarantee maximum power and optimal thermal management. This model offers 6% more power compared to the Tech 4 V4, while maintaining exemplary progressiveness. Ideal for gravity and e-bikes, it remains incompatible with vented rotors.

Supplied with three types of pads (Racing, All Conditions, and E-Bike), the HOPE TECH 4 EVO GR4 adapts to all riding styles. With its 2 m hose, 14 colour combinations and its highly refined design, it establishes itself as the absolute reference for high-end braking for the most demanding riders.
