Description
The LEZYNE Grip Drive HV is a hand pump optimized for wide-section tires (MTB, Gravel, Fat Bike). Unlike road pumps that focus on pressure, this High Volume model displaces more air with each stroke, allowing you to re-inflate your off-road tires much faster after a puncture.
Its special feature is its textured (knurled) body, which offers exceptional grip, even when wearing gloves or in muddy conditions. Like all top-of-the-range Lezyne pumps, it features the ABS Flex Hose, which protects your valves from mechanical damage during pumping.
Why choose the HV version rather than the HP? The HV (High Volume) version is designed for large, low-pressure tires (mountain bikes). It inflates faster but becomes difficult to operate above 3-4 bar. The HP (High Pressure) version is designed for thin road tires requiring high pressures.
Is it compatible with tubeless valve shells? Yes. The hose is screwed onto the valve, ensuring a total seal, which is crucial for tubeless tires. The ABS tip even incorporates a valve-object removal tool.
How do I switch from Presta to Schrader? It's very simple: just unscrew the hose end, turn it over and screw it back on. Both sides are clearly marked.
