Description
Designed for cyclists in competition or purely for leisure, the LOOK Kéo 2 Max Carbon pedals pedals have benefited from several evolutions in their 2018 version, to further increase their level of reliability.
The width of the support is increased by 3 mm to 60 mm: comfort and stability under the sole are thus improved, while the total support surface - now 500 m² - increases by 25% to raise the level of performance and the quality of power transmission. The shape of the stainless-steel plate has also evolved to better adapt to the geometry of the wedge, whatever the position and angular freedom used.
Designed in carbon, the ultra-light pedal body incorporates an oversized chromoly + steel axle. This features a new bearing system, with a tapered spacer associated with the needle bushing and internal ball bearing, to enhance the reliability of the assembly and reduce the risk of play.
Finally, thanks to their adjustable tension, it is possible to adjust the difficulty of putting on and taking off the shoes.

Pedals out of order in just 3 years
"Purchased in May 2018, the right pedal axle has taken some play and snaps with each turn of the crank. I've ridden about 4000kms with it, which is really very little. Special mention to Pbk who doesn't even want to escalate the problem to Look, and offers me a royal 5% discount for the purchase of a new pair... ."
