All it took—and it makes perfect sense—was pairing Magura rotors with Magura brakes to get results that live up to the MT5s' reputation. As a rider weighing over 100 kg, it’s night and day with these rotors—they brake and stop me much better. Before, I was always slamming on the brakes; now I’m careful to modulate them. I’d read comments on another site saying they were noisy, but that’s not the case at all. A good cleaning of the rotors, a light sanding of the pads, and a proper break-in—no noise and excellent braking :D"
