Developed and tested in collaboration with Greg Minnaar, the MAXXIS Assegai 29x2.60" tyre Exo takes its name from a spear of the Zulu people of South Africa. It is therefore the perfect weapon to conquer the mountains.
Promoting traction, this tyre features large side blocks offering excellent grip in roots. Its dual compound rubber blend and knob orientation improve both rolling efficiency and braking performance.
In this Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, this tyre also features an Exo casing on the sidewalls, providing increased protection against abrasion and tearing.
