The MAVIC COSMIC ULTIMATE 45 Wheelset lives up to its name: "Ultimate" is synonymous with absolute excellence. Developed to deliver the very best in performance, it combines extreme lightness, stiffness and aerodynamics in a complete set weighing only 1260 g. Compatible with tubeless and clincher tyres as well as disc brakes, it is aimed at the most demanding cyclists in pursuit of speed, reliability and unique sensations.

Its carbon rim, derived from a 45 mm NACA profile and an external width of 32 mm, combines aerodynamic efficiency and stability. Thanks to a complex assembly, the weight-to-stiffness ratio is optimised, whilst the Adaptative Lay Up layer stacking allows a weight saving of 70 g. Undrilled, the rim requires no rim tape for a seal, thus guaranteeing simple and trouble-free tubeless use.

The UST Tubeless system and the 23mm internal width simplify the installation of wide tubeless tyres from 700x28, offering more comfort and manoeuvrability whilst reducing friction and the risk of punctures.

On the spoke side, R2R (rim to rim) technology makes the difference. The 20 elliptical spokes in unidirectional carbon fibres are continuous, passing through the hubs to form a one-piece structure. This design considerably increases stiffness, improves aerodynamics and eliminates the weak points associated with traditional fixings.

The carbon hubs incorporate ceramic bearings for smooth and durable operation for premium performance. At the rear, the ID360 freehub system ensures instant engagement with its 40 points, for explosive accelerations and lossless power transmission. Designed for thru-axles (12x100 / 12x142) and Center Lock disc brakes, this wheelset is perfectly suited to modern bikes.

Entirely handmade in France in Mavic's carbon workshop in Annecy, the Cosmic Ultimate 45 Disc wheels benefit from unique expertise. Offered with a lifetime warranty and a generous replacement policy in the event of a crash, they represent the perfect alliance between innovation, durability and ultimate performance.
