Description

The tire PIRELLI Cinturato 700c Tubeless Ready with soft beads is a tire with an emphasis on comfort and endurance, to accompany cyclists on long road or GRAVEL outings. Perfect for Granfondo-style events and long bike tours, it's designed to play the traps of the bumpiest trails and roads.

This tire can be mounted in the classic way, with an inner tube; it can also be mounted Tubeless Ready, thanks to the specific design of its beads.

The Cinturato tire is built around a 127 tpi carcass, amply reinforced by two Armour Tech puncture protectors. A layer of high-density nylon wraps it from bead to bead, while a layer of aramid fiber is added under the tread to protect the carcass from cuts.

Last but not least, this tire uses SmartNET Silica rubber, which offers excellent performance in terms of efficiency, longevity and wet grip. The grooves on the surface enhance this last point.

Excellent in terms of

"Excellent in terms of longevity (over 3000kms on the rear, still not dismounted on the front, and I weigh 85kgs), no punctures even when riding on the tire at the end of its life. Good comfort on bad roads. And no geometry problems on mounting. I'm sticking with this tire now!"

I only ride this tire

"I've ridden a lot with Continental's GP 5000 tubeless section 25. It was great but fragile. Then I tried a victoria rubino. I regretted it. Since then I've tested the Pirelli cinturato. In terms of performance, it's a bit below the GP 5000, but in cyclo and cyclo-sport, no problem. In terms of grip, it never surprised me. Unlike the victoria. Longevity is top-notch. No punctures in 3 years on two bikes (my wife and I). They go on for 5000 km or more at the front. The assembly is correct. I use a little preventive. I inflate to 4bar for 69kg."

Tubeless tire .

"Good quality tire ... rather difficult to install when mounted, but sets up well tubeless. ."

Dav. L. (4/5)

Easy mounting on tubeless-ready carbon rims.

"Slam around 5 bar on foot pump, on tubeless-ready carbon rims ICAN Wheel FL40, perfect seal provided you use a 23mm wide adhesive rim tape well plated, on clean rim."

Rphil89 (5/5)

Bad luck?

"60 bullets for a rear tire that lasted me two outings is rough (meets flint). It's leaking above 3-4 bars now so insufficient, to see if it's repairable I'll test the patches. The second one is still in good condition after 1000 km. Comfort is good."

Koenig (3/5)

Forget inner tubes!

"Very comfortable, mounted on Mavic SLR carbon wheels, take care to let the tire warm up and take its place on the rim edges, mounting it 3 days before use: delivered folded in its packaging, the tire must return to its initial shape to ensure a good seal."

Tire pirelli

"This tire is easy to mount by hand, we'll have to see about longevity".

Patrick (5/5)

Top equipment

"Top tire, very comfortable and easy to mount. I recommend the product. The price: a few euros too expensive compared to its competitors"
