The Cytal Carbon helmet has been rigorously tested through computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations, wind tunnel testing, and field evaluations by riders from the EF Pro Cycling team, ensuring both performance and reliability.

Safety is at the heart of POC helmet development, as exemplified by the Cytal Carbon. Certified to standard safety norms, it has also undergone FEA (Finite Element Analysis) testing to optimise safety. This process inspired the addition of a carbon fin and a Koridion insert, improving the overall integrity of the helmet.

The helmet liner is made up of two densities of expanded polystyrene (EPS), with a denser upper section and a less dense lower section, providing optimised protection in the event of an impact while keeping weight to a minimum.
