RACE FACE TURBINE 35 stem Black

The RACE FACE Turbinestem is Race Face's all-purpose stem par excellence. CNC-machined from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, it is designed to withstand the rigors of All-Mountain and Enduro riding, while remaining light enough for serious Cross-Country use.

Its special feature is the Overbite faceplate, which distributes clamping forces evenly over the handlebars. This reduces stress points, which is crucial if you're using carbon handlebars. It's a piece of mechanical goldsmithery that brings immediate steering precision and a high-end look to any cockpit.

Is it compatible with carbon handlebars? Absolutely. Thanks to its Overbite front plate, pressure is distributed more evenly, avoiding crushing the carbon fibers. Just be sure to use a torque wrench to respect the tightening torques indicated.

Why choose the 35 mm diameter? The 35 mm standard increases the rigidity of the cockpit/fork assembly, offering more precise guidance in brittle sections, without making the part heavier.

Is it suitable for pure DH? Although extremely solid, Race Face offers the Atlas model for intensive DH or Freeride use. The Turbine is more suited to Trail and Enduro bikes, where weight savings are important.

Are the screws made of steel or titanium? They come with high-strength steel screws. For weight purists, it's possible to replace them with a titanium kit, although steel is preferred here for long-term reliability.
