The Selle Italia X-Bow Superflow is the centrally cut-out version of the innovative X-Bow range, specially designed for MTB (Trail, Enduro, E-MTB), Gravel and Bikepacking. It features the patented rail attachment system at the extreme rear of the shell, which frees up the area under the sit bones and gives the saddle a natural shock-absorbing flexibility.

This variant integrates the large anatomical Superflow opening, designed to eliminate pressure on the perineal area during prolonged efforts and steep climbs. Complemented by Shock Absorber dampers under the shell, a durable Soft-Tek cover and solid FeC Alloy rails, the X-Bow Superflow offers exceptional comfort and great stability on rough terrain.

What is the difference between the X-Bow and the X-Bow Superflow?The classic X-Bow has a solid sitting surface (closed with a central channel), whereas the X-Bow Superflow features a wide, fully cut-out central opening to maximise perineal pressure relief.

Is the saddle suitable for use on an electric mountain bike (e-MTB)?Yes, absolutely. The reinforced structure and robustness of the FeC Alloy rails are perfectly designed to withstand the high stresses of seated pedalling on an electric bike.

Are FeC Alloy rails compatible with all seatposts?Yes. The rails feature a standard round cross-section of 7mm, guaranteeing simple and universal fitting on all seatpost clamps on the market.
