The Wolf Tooth Tubeless Valve Kit is more than just an aesthetic accessory. Designed to solve the common problems associated with switching to tubeless, this kit uses CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum to guarantee maximum lightness and rock-solid strength.
Their real strength lies in their "Flow-Max" design: the base of the valve is designed to let a large volume of air through, facilitating tire blowout, even with a foot pump. What's more, they are fully compatible with tire inserts (such as the Odyssey Optis system) thanks to side channels that prevent the insert from blocking the air supply.
Are these valves compatible with carbon rims? Absolutely. The soft rubber seals protect the carbon and ensure a perfect seal, with no risk of scratching the rim when tightening.
Will the preventive fluid clog the valves? The large internal passage reduces the risk of residue build-up. What's more, the valve shell is removable, making it easy to clean or replace if the fluid dries out inside.
Why are there several gaskets in the kit? Every rim manufacturer has a different internal profile. Wolf Tooth supplies several gasket shapes (conical or rectangular) so you can choose the one that best fits the bottom of your rim.
How do I use the bus cap? It's very simple: the top of the plug has a special slot. Simply turn the plug over, insert it on the valve shell and unscrew. It's the perfect troubleshooting tool.
