Designed for 68/70 mm frames and 24 mm crank axles, the SHIMANO Tiagra BB-RS501 ITA Hollowtech II threaded bottom bracket features bearings that are even smoother and more sealed than the previous generation.

The bearing size has also been revised to save weight.
