The SHIMANO XT FD-M8020 front derailleur is intended for 2x11 speed drivetrains.
Presented here in Direct Mount, it can be fitted to frames designed for this purpose, particularly those with a large-travel shock absorber. Its design allows greater tyre clearance and thus enables a short-chainstay geometry. The Side-Swing system promises notably very smooth chainring changes, as well as very quiet operation, thanks to a particularly well-optimised cable routing.
Its operation, made easier thanks to a direct cable routing, is stable, precise and efficient.
