Bought new, received damaged (already used, installed)

"Hello to the whole team and all our readers! I just received the Saint Shimano derailleur, and imagine my surprise when I found out it was already installed! I have to admit I'm a little bummed to see those chain marks. I haven’t installed it yet; I have no doubt it works fine, but I’m still having a hard time accepting it. After all, I’ve been ordering from this site for several years now and have never had any unpleasant surprises—always delivered on time, always impeccable service. Ordering a new derailleur and receiving a “used” one—let’s just say you’ve got me used to better. Even though it’s cheaper on other sites, I stuck with you because of the trust I have in you! (Hence my disappointment). I’m not going to send it back, though, but still. I’ll install it, test it out, and let you know how it goes. On that note, I wish you all the best, hoping this kind of inconvenience doesn’t happen again—neither to me nor to others. Please be more careful in the future (if I may say so). Happy riding to all."

Meh

"The derailleur is hitting the bottom bracket of my Tues 2.0. I have to move the upper pulley all the way back, which causes the gears to shift poorly, and sometimes the chain even jumps off and gets caught between the cassette and the bottom bracket. The wheel locks up during a jump => overheating"

Perfect

"I rode the Zee for a long time because I was on a tight budget, and that was a big mistake. I recommend the Saint to everyone—sure, it’s an investment, but it’s ultra-quiet and way more durable than the Zee. The build quality is top-notch—just perfect."

Gauthierl (5/5)

Perfect!

"Fitted with a 9-speed SRAM cassette and a 9-speed SRAM twist shifter, the 10-speed derailleur works like a charm on my latest 20-inch Mondraker Panzer... The short cage allows for better chain guidance, keeping the chain inside the rim’s rim flange at all times and preventing it from interfering with or rubbing against the FAT tire, as a long cage would... A beautifully crafted product that eliminates the need for a chain guide thanks to its constant chain tension... Under normal use, of course..."

Crapulo (5/5)

reliable, precise

"I've been riding with this derailleur for two seasons now. It shows normal wear and tear and has a bit of play, but it still works fine. Great value for money on the website..."

Chanu (4/5)

What can I say—he's a saint!

"Sturdy, precise, durable, heavier than XTR but more impact-resistant in the event of a crash. Its reputation speaks for itself."

good product

"The derailleur is a great product—I still need to test it out and hope it holds up over time."

Great derailleur—sturdy and lightweight.

"I bought it two weeks ago. It's easy to put together, and it doesn't take forever to set up. I'm really happy with this purchase, but then again, I'm never disappointed by "Saint" products—they're top-notch =)"

The best

"I bought this item two months ago. With the steep discount, I didn't hesitate... So it's sturdy, the shifting isn't perfect, but the product is beautiful. When properly adjusted, it runs more or less quietly—which is already better than most other derailleurs. Here are a few photos."

Yvann (5/5)

That's the real deal!

"Great gear! Easy to install and set up, and it works really well with the shifter from the same line!"
