TOPEAK SWING-UP DX swivel bike rack

TheTOPEAK SWING-UP DX bike mount is more than just a wall hook. It's a high-performance bracket that allows you to hang your bike vertically and rotate it from left to right. This function is crucial: it allows you to press your bike against the wall to free up floor space, or to store several bikes side by side like the pages of a book.

Unlike fixed hooks, the Swing-Up DX's pivot mechanism is fluid and can be locked at the desired angle in 15° increments. Its sturdy aluminum and steel construction supports the heaviest bikes, while a soft rubber coating protects your rims.

Is it compatible with mountain bikes with large tires (29" x 2.4" or larger)? The DX is limited to 2.35" tires. For larger tires (Plus size or Fat Bike), Topeak offers the Swing-Up EX model or specific brackets. Be sure to check the width of your modern mountain bike tires.

Can I install it on a plasterboard wall? We strongly recommend that you fix it to a wooden stud or hard wall (concrete/brick). If you need to install it on plasterboard, use Molly high-strength wall plugs adapted to the weight of your bike (16 kg + leverage).

Will the bike fall off if it's not straight? No, the hook is designed to hold the wheel firmly. The pivot locking system ensures that the bike stays in the position in which you place it.

Does it damage the spokes? The hook is profiled to rest on the rim, not the spokes. Its soft coating prevents any aesthetic damage.
