Description
The TOPEAK TubiBooster Compressor Cartridge is an aluminum compressed air reservoir designed to store pressure up to 200 psi / 14 bar. It acts like a compressor: once charged using a standard foot pump, it releases a massive volume of air in a fraction of a second to force the beads of your Tubeless tire into place against the rim.
Its "2-in-1" design is particularly ingenious: the inflation head can be detached from the reservoir to be used directly with a CO2 cartridge during your outings. It's the perfect solution for both workshop and emergency use.
How many tires can be slammed with one charge? The reservoir must be recharged between each tire to ensure maximum air flow and a successful slam on the first try.
Do I have to remove the valve shell to use the TubiBooster? Yes, it's a good idea. Removing the tire's valve shell allows air to flow unrestrictedly, guaranteeing success even on the most difficult rim/tire combinations.
Is it dangerous to store air under pressure? TubiBooster is tested to withstand pressures well in excess of 200 psi. However, to be on the safe side, it's advisable to drain the air if you're not going to use it for a long time.
